Who builds it
Started with a welder. Now we build the whole backyard.
FBR started as a welding and fence shop: gates, iron railings, pipe fence, steel posts. Customers kept asking Francisco for the rest of the job. The wood porch rail next to the iron one. The patio extension. The deck.
So that is the work now. FBR Construction LLC frames, builds decks and pergolas, adds rooms and still builds fence, all with the same crew. When a job needs steel, we weld it ourselves.

01Walk the site
Francisco comes out, measures, and shows you photos and samples of past work. Then you get a bid.

02Settle the details
Material, height, stain, where the gate swings. Changes are easy now and still possible later.

03Build it

We build across McLennan and Coryell counties: Waco, Hewitt, Woodway and the towns around them, out along U.S. 84 to McGregor and Gatesville, and over to Copperas Cove. The Blackland clay around Waco shrinks and cracks in a dry summer and swells when it rains, which is why we set posts deep and use steel where it counts.

You used to be FBR Welder & Construction. Is this the same company?
Yes. Same owner, same crew, now FBR Construction LLC. The new name fits the work better: around Waco we build decks, pergolas, framing and home additions now, along with the fencing, gates and welding we started with. Reviews left under the old name are still ours, and we quote them as written.
Do you still do welding and metal work?
Yes. Iron railings, steel posts, gates, pens and repairs are welded in-house by the same crew that does the carpentry. That is why a pergola, porch or fence around Waco can mix wood and steel without bringing in a second contractor or a second bid.
Can I change the plan once the job starts?
Usually, yes. Tell Francisco on site and he will tell you what the change does to the time and the price before anything gets built. Customers around Waco have called out that he is willing to work with changes, and that is how we want every job to run.
Do you haul away the old fence or deck?
Yes. On a replacement we tear out the old fence, deck or porch, haul it off as part of the job and clean up before we leave. You do not need to rent a dumpster or find someone to take the old lumber and wire away.
